Tom has worked in the electric vehicle and wider automotive sector for over 12 years. He formerly chaired the motor industry’s principle EV group and has extensive knowledge of electric vehicles, infrastructure and associated technologies. His role at bp pulse includes surfacing insights around vehicles and infrastructure, as well as engaging with the media, car manufacturers, government and other stakeholders. He has driven over 100,000 electric miles in the last four years.

Shayne is Head of Marketing at char.gy, a provider of public electric vehicle charging to communities of drivers who can’t use their home electricity supply to charge their cars. Most of his career focused on marketing EDF’s range of low-carbon energy solutions to businesses and the public sector. He draws on this experience to help char.gy play a big part in the electrification of transport and its crucial role in delivering the UK’s Net Zero 2050 goal.
Prior to joining char.gy, Shayne led the UK sales and marketing team at ubitricity and helped the company grow into the UK’s largest public charging networks by number of charge points.

Joel Teague is the founder of Co Charger, a company dedicated to enabling EV ownership for motorists who cannot have a charge point at home. Having defined the concept of Community Charging in 2020 he launched the first platform built specifically to support the practice of sharing charge points within neighbourhoods. Eight months on, the platform supports over 1,500 shared charge points and is has grown at over 40% per month so far in 2021.
Joel is a leading commentator on the acceleration of the transition to EVs and an advocate of both industry collaboration and the sharing economy in that process. He is an elected member of the steering group for the Renewable Energy Association’s EV Forum.
Before founding Co Charger, Joel was a contract programme manager and Agile management specialist working on major initiatives within the automotive, scientific, aviation and marketing sectors.

Liam is a consultant member of the National Register of Access Consultants (NRAC) with over 30 years’ experience of working in Inclusive Design and Access.
He is a Director of Proudlock Associates, a well-established inclusive design and access consultancy, now in its fifteenth year. He has worked on many large and complex projects requiring a high knowledge of Local Authority Planning guidelines and associated Supplementary Planning Guidance and Planning Policy Statements, in order to ensure developments meet all conditions and deliver inclusion.
Liam has considerable experience of using the Building Regulations Part M and Part K as well as the Equality Act 2010. He has an excellent knowledge of best practice guidance such as BS8300 2018 “Design of an Accessible and Inclusive Environment”.
He is a visiting lecturer to some Schools of Architecture and provides training to design teams and architects on meeting both statutory requirements and best practice in the field of inclusive design and access.
Liam writes and maintains the Inclusive Design section for RICS members on their web-based iSurv resource, providing updated guidance on requirements, best practice and news related to the industry involving inclusive design of environments, transport and the infrastructure.
